-
Absolutely. All of our prices in your catered quote include our travel and accommodation. There are no sneaky further costs involved.
-
The short answer is yes and the long answer is yesss.
-
Can you believe your luck? Diane is a qualified celebrant, meaning she is able to take your ceremony. We will always discuss this further on our call with you to ensure you know exactly how things work.
-
M10s are the paperwork that you need to complete in order to be legally married in Scotland. Diane is able to guide you through this entire process.
-
All of our photos are delivered via an online gallery (got to be down with the kids) for you to download for free at any time. You are also able to order prints via your gallery (this is not free, our apologies).
-
We are nomads at heart. We travel the world.
-
Yes. Diane is basically obsessed with me. We will both be at your day.
-
Whenever you fancy.
Want the chance of snowy mountain peaks? Dec–March (You may need a 4x4 depending on where you want to elope to – and to be okay with driving in icy conditions).
Want a higher chance to see highland cow calves and to watch Scotland spring (heh) into action? March-June
Want to be eaten alive by midges? June-Aug (Probably the worst time for elopements)
Want moody mists and stunning colour tones? Sept-Nov.

Let me tell you a true story – we were once in a car accident 5 minutes from a wedding venue. Melissa broke her ribs and Diane had a brain injury (she has recovered now). We still did the wedding.
We will never cancel on our clients for their wedding day.
If all of our limbs fall off spontaneously, we would point you in the direction of another photographer and issue a full refund.
-
We don’t work in ‘Prep til first dance’ lingo. Whether that be for an elopement or a wedding.
We want to capture the beauty, the chaos and everything inbetween.
Our longer packages cover up to 12 hours or even two days. Dependent on your needs. -
YES – you can book your videography through us.
We have our trusted buddy who comes to do videography with us and he is AMAZING - you can find his work throughout our website as he is part of The Snashfolds team.
He is also a queer ally and a safe space - we love him dearly.
This third person means we get basically everything.
-
Do you know… The Stravaigs Package?
The Stravaigs package?
THE STRAVAIGS PACKAGE.
You can book near enough everything through us and we organise things so you don’t have to. Super helpful if you’re a stressy pants or things are just harder to organise from abroad.
-
Yes. All of our elopement locations are planned by us unless there is somewhere you have your heart set on.
We will advise of safety issues and what to expect in the 1 million different seasons that Scotland experiences in one day.
-
YOU BET YOUR BUTT WE CAN.
We will only recommend our trusted suppliers – people who we have worked with, trust and have the same ethos as us. We want to make this whole experience as stress-free as possible for you, so will always help you with vendors as best we can.
-
We can, but at different times due to the two different styles of photography Diane and I both have. We will organise this all with you on our first call.
-
If you’re wanting to elope, you need to expect… Nay… EMBRACE the rain.
If you don’t like it, you’re probably better off choosing a wedding.
Our equipment is weather-proof so it makes no difference to us if it’s torrential or a bright and sunny day.
-
We always try to do our best to help our clients – down to every last detail.
You just let us know what you need and we will endeavor to sort it for you.
-
Another thing that comes with elopements – in Summer at least – are MIDGES.
They are tiny little spawns of Satan and exist to be a bane to all living creatures on this earth.
If you insist on eloping in Summer (May-Sept, worst in June-Aug), you need to expect midges. Arm yourselves with Avon skin-so-soft or the less effective Smidge to keep the little buggers away. (No, I am not an Avon seller).
